Home Visits
Whilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery where we have the facilities to provide optimal care, we do appreciate this is not always possible. If you do need a home visit, we ask that if possible, you can phone and request a visit between 8.30am and 9.30am.
We are more than happy to make a home visit to patients who are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. A doctor will usually speak to you before making a visit in case there is another way of dealing with your problem.
You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
Home visits are not available to assist with transport problems.
